Lunch & Dinner is served Thursday through Monday, featuring a la carte Sunday Brunch and themed events throughout the month.

Enjoy the club's year-round calendar of special events, where friends and neighbors dine on fresh-made culinary delights and take part in games, entertainment, or activities.  An important part of the Green Boundary Club experience is that many lifelong friendships are forged at club events.

The Main Dining Room

A formal, elegant, and bright atmosphere appropriate for special occasion dining and after church Sunday brunch.

The Library

An intimate private dining space in the unique, wood lined original library of this 1927 home. This room is perfect for celebrating special moments with family, friends and loved ones.

The Bobby Knowles Pub

Named after one of the club's founders, a famous Aiken amateur golfer in the 1930's and 40's, this is a casual dining space with open views of the club’s grounds surrounded by Bobby Knowles memorabilia.

The Living Room

An intimate space lined with comfortable soft seating that makes you feel like you are in a home in the 1920s. Enjoy a craft cocktail before dinner or just grab a bite while socializing the night away with your Green Boundary family and friends.

The Club Room

Slated for renovation in the fall, this room will become the place to be seen for a casual get together with friends to enjoy a burger and football game or to grab a cocktail after a game of croquet, pickleball or polo.

The Terrace

Enjoy casual dining with comfortable seating in an outdoor setting overlooking the rear lawns and croquet courts of this historic home. Perfect for outdoor events and parties or just to catch a laid back dinner with friends.

Meet the Chef

Joe Wolfson, originally from Texas but grew in South Carolina is a graduate of the Charleston, SC campus of Johnson and Wales. He apprenticed at the 4 Star 4 Diamond Ocean Room Restaurant inside of the 5 star and 5 Diamond Sanctuary Hotel on Kiawah Island. His first Executive Chef position was at Montgomery, Alabama’s Ham and High restaurant where he was nominated 1 of the 100 Best New Chef’s in America by Food and Wine Magazine and He was also featured in Southern Living and twice featured in Food and Wine Magazine as well as being invited to be guest Chef at Outstanding in the Field. He was only the 2nd chef from Alabama to be bestowed with this honor. While working in Connecticut at Westport’s Terrain Garden Café he was given a favorable review for his cuisine by the New York Times. Joe has also been a participant on the Food Network Television Show “Beat Bobby Flay”. Joe spent time in the US Virgin Islands where he was the Executive Chef at St. Thomas’ only 4 Diamond restaurant the Old Stone Farmhouse before having to leave due to Hurricane Irma. He was most recently the Chef at Tavern and Grocery in Charlottesville, Va before returning home to SC to take the helm at the Green Boundary Club in Aiken.
Joe has shown an unwavering passion and drive to source the best products that are available. His cuisine is hyper-seasonal which leads to an ever-evolving menu which highlights his creativity and dedication to his craft. Joe’s love for food and cooking was instilled to him by his mom, Susi, and Grandmother, Barbara, the latter of whom he spent his summers with helping her create nightly dinners for family. He still is a firm believer in the lessons she taught him about utilizing the best ingredients at their peak and not complicating them but instead allowing them to shine.
Joe’s passion for his craft are only matched by his love for Oklahoma Sooner Football and enjoyment of seeing live music. He is a die-hard Phish fan and has been to close to 100 of their live shows. On his days off he can be found relaxing by the water or spending time with friends.
