Offerings include Golf Croquet, Intermediate Croquet and Regular/Tournament Croquet. New members are warmly greeted by more experienced players and learn to play readily. The large court has ‘open play’ day on Thursday and Sunday afternoons. Members may use club mallets and balls and participate in club-sponsored clinics and tournaments. Some go on to become members of the U.S. Croquet Association (USCA). The members of the Croquet committee are: Rich Watson, Lawrence Kurland, Don Broderick, & Sheryl Phillips.
The 2nd Annual USCA Tournament was successfully completed on November 15th this year. We would like to thank all of the volunteers who helped to make this such a great success! Thank you to our very own Pam Wills for her review of the event published by the United States Croquet Association! Please read the article here: Green Boundary Club USCA Tournament

Janet Bransome and Billy Benton are reviving and kicking off a new style of playing Backgammon at The GBC. All club members are invited to play Backgammon/Chouette at 6:30 Thursday evenings this season. Chouette is a form of backgammon for more than two players. Chouettes offer many advantages over one-on-one play in a club situation. They are fun, sociable, and exciting, and it is easy for players to join a game or take a brief break when they want to. We will have 4-5 players on each Backgammon Board.
Please contact the club at 803.649.2549, or Mr. Benton at 803.215.6166 to make reservations. We have games planned for the following dates February 2nd, February 16th, March 2nd, March 16th, and March 30th.
Green Boundary Club members who are interested in benefiting from our sports and social programs are encouraged to look into GB tennis! Presently, the Tennis Club represents a good mix of experienced players, many who have recently returned to the game and several new players who also take lessons on our GBC court. Those interested in learning about the Tennis Club should enquire at the front desk or drop by on Saturday mornings when, weather permitting, open round robin play is regularly scheduled. The tennis court is a popular place where good tennis and great social gatherings occur. Members play ‘round robin’ matches on Saturday mornings. Reservations can be made at the front desk, one week in advance and for a two-hour period.
– Our game consists of five rounds of Chicago format. We will eat dinner after the 3rd round. Every player contributes $10 to play and that goes to pay a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize. Please come and join us. Call the club to reserve a place for you and your partner. 649-2549. Reservations must be made by 2pm on the day of play.
– On the lst and 3rd Friday of every month, bridge players meet at noon for lunch. Following lunch, the group plays bridge into the late afternoon. Eight regulars play, making two tables. Pictured: Kit Bryant and Donna Smith, active Green Boundary Club members, head up the Friday Bridge games at the club.
